What the Dojo keeps about you, why, for how long, and how to erase it all.

No ads, no ad trackers, no data resale. The Dojo only sends you announcements (Cisco Dojo release, new Dojos) if you ticked the box for it, which is never ticked in advance. To withdraw your consent: untick “Tell me about new Dojos” in your profile (☁️), click the unsubscribe link in every e-mail, or write to dojolinux@gmail.com. Same for reminder e-mails: untick “Send me an e-mail if I take a break” in your profile (☁️) or use the link in every e-mail.
dojo_at cookie: keeps your session so the site knows you are signed in and sends you the full Dojo. Essential to the service, it expires after one hour at most.localStorage): your progress, nickname, e-mail and sign-in session, so the Dojo works even offline.These are strictly necessary for the service and need no consent (Belgian Electronic Communications Act of 13 June 2005). The Dojo uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
At any time you can access, correct, erase or export your data (portability), object to or restrict its processing. Write to dojolinux@gmail.com; we answer within one month. Deleting your account erases your progress, certificates and access.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels) or the authority of your country.
If you are under 13, ask a parent before creating an account.
